The current brick building was built by Larry Coffman in 1946 to house the Maid-Rite.

These photos have been recently donated to the Historical Society by Jerry Anderson. Jerry’s parents, Johnny & Lucille Egenes, owned the Maid Rite for about 19 years from early 1950s through the 1960s. There were 11 stools around the counter.Maid Rites cost 24¢ each or 5/$1, pie was 15¢, bottle of pop 10¢, and a cookie was 5¢.
