This address is part of the Story City National Bank building which was built in 1913. The Story City National Bank occupied the space at 529 Broad St and the Ladies Fashion Shop was located at 527 Broad. The Fashion Shop's store formed an L shape around the Nation Bank with what is now 605 Pennsylvania Ave being the side entrance. We don't have a specific date as to when 605 Pennsylvania became it's own separate space, however, we currently believe Dr. Kruger was the first to occupy this address.
