Staff

Kate Feil is the director of the Museums of Story City where she coordinates with volunteers to develop exhibits, events, and fundraisers. Kate values historic preservation and telling the stories of the past. Before coming to Story City, Kate worked for the Maryland State Archives and the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History. Kate holds a BA in Liberal Studies with a minor in History from Iowa State University and a graduate certificate in Museum Collections Management from The George Washington University. ​
