Charles Edward Donhowe was born May 18, 1920 to Peter Christian and Olive Marvick Donhowe. He died Apr. 6, 2004 and is buried in Iowa State University Cemetery, Ames, IA.

Charles served in World War II with the U.S. Naval Air Corps.
