Woodland Farms
The Hermanson Family has resided in Story City for six generations. When Peter Andersen, the earliest American settling descendant, arrived in Iowa from Denmark in 1871 he set a precedent of determination after purchasing 82 acres of farmland in Story County. Nearly two centuries later, Peter’s family continue to farm in Story City and have expanded the business to not only include grain and dairy, but turkey farming as well. Throughout the years, the Hermanson’s have worked tirelessly to expand Woodland Farms productions, all while promoting family leadership and community inclusion.
