Emil Jesse Overland was born Sept. 5, 1901 to Edward Johannsen and Bertha Jacobson Overland. He died Mar. 26, 1944 and is buried in Fairview Cemetery, Story City, IA.
He served with the 668 Field Artillery Battalion. Emil died at the Station Hospital, Waco Army Air Field, Waco, TX.
